Study on the Mechanism of Technology Transfer in United States Universities

摘要

In United States, universities have been "the incubator" of new knowledge and new technology. To create the loose external policy environment, government carries on the macro-control to university's technology transfer through various methods, such as increasing and amending related to laws, adjusting policies and providing financial subsidy. In order to assist the transformation of the technical results, universities pay attention to the cooperation with the various parts such as academia, industrial field, government and research institutions, and establish various organizations, special institutions based in universities. The methods taken by U.S. government and universities to promote university's technology transfer are worth our using for reference.
