An Empirical Study on the Economic Agglomeration Effect in Wuhan Megalopolis

Since "Wuhan megalopolis" concept was put forward, many articles from the policy level have been illustrating the importance of the establishment of Wuhan megalopolis, and how to establish the feasibility of Wuhan megalopolis. However, there is no convincing empirical analysis yet. This paper attempts to use econometric tools to establish an economic analytical framework to analyze the agglomeration effects of Wuhan megalopolis. Through the analysis, we can find its trends. Through the agglomeration effect of economic analysis we can further explore and upgrade Wuhan megalopolis on agglomeration effect.
