For the R&D project investment of Sci-Tech SMEs, there are two different and elemental policies: parallel and sequential investment. The choice of the policies depends on the business environment and R&D project characteristics. The paper puts forward an empirical analysis in the impact of the R&D project characteristics on investment policies of Sci-Tech SMEs.
