DYNAMICS AND CONTROL OF FLUIDISED BEDS

摘要

The state of a fluidised bed can be interpreted as the distribution and number of bubbles within it. The control of the state of a fluidised bed through the understanding of its underlying dynamics is described here. A visual method for measuring the state of a planar bed is used which allows direct interpretation of the state of the bed,. The work is therefore extended to pressure measurements and it is shown that these can be used to control realistic industrial fluidised beds.
