Modeling and Evaluating for the Neighbor Node Number of Ad Hoc Network

The neighbor node number of ad hoc network plays a very important part in network security. After analyzing the node movement of ad hoc network, it is presented that the node movement of ad hoc network is Brown movement. By using unit communication distance, the relative position, which is based on reference node, of the nodes and network area are measured. According to mutually independent movement of network nodes, Markov chain is used to describe movement character and position state of ad hoc network nodes. By modeling, analyzing and evaluating for the movement character and position state of node to reference node, we get the probability value and computation formula of being neighbor node for reference node. With the probability value of neighbor node and Bernoulli distribution, the neighbor node number of ad hoc network is modeled and evaluated. Finally, the average number and computation formula of neighbor nodes in ad hoc network are given.
