摘要

Potential applications of Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) are restricted by many factors. Furthermore, with the development of industrial field, ERT system has been required to be a kind of visual intelligent measuring instrument for two-phase flow. To address these challenges and meet the requirement, two new schemes of ERT system are brought forward. The system function, development period as well as cost are carefully compared between the two schemes. And based on this analysis a novel ERT system based on Digital Signal Processor and Complex Programmable Logic Device has been designed, constructed according to the second scheme. The design adopts the user-defined bus and the module structure. Universal serial bus technology is used to achieve the communication between PC and ERT system based on DSP.
