摘要

A new method of realizing the edge detection for color image is proposed based on the gradient algorithm of multi-structuring elements morphological of HSI space in the paper. The ability of edge detection based on multi-structuring elements morphological is superior to mono-structuring element. The defined algorithm considers enough the influence of the edge directivity and the noise to edge detection. The algorithm possesses excellent performance on the noise restrained, and it can meet various requirements in application.
