The Competitiveness Comparative Analysis of Urban Convention and Exhibition Industry

Convention and exhibition industry, a rising with the maturity and perfection of the market economy under the global economic integration, has become the consumption chain that drives the development of the third industry in China. The competitiveness of convention and exhibition industry is the important reflection of urban synthetic competitiveness. This paper, constructed the comprehensive evaluation index system and corresponding mathematics model of the competitiveness of urban convention and exhibition industry by analyze the current situation, and select seven important evaluation indexes which reflect the development of convention and exhibition industry to demonstrate. It aims to analyzing and appraising the competitiveness of urban convention and exhibition industry , solving the bottleneck problems of restrict the industrial development, strengthening the standardization, and putting forward the concrete countermeasure and suggestion to ensure the development of urban convention & exhibition industry with healthy and expedite.
