This paper puts forth a new principle named as whirlpool purifying mechanism with a very widely-used''^ prospective, on the basis of the operation practice of wet highly effective flue gas purifying device. This equipment mainly consists of uniquely designed premixed chamber, purifying chamber and highly effective wetness-removing i mechanism. It effectively makes full use of the kinetic energy, potential energy and internal energy from flue gas itself. So it greatly improves the ability to catch and use tiny smoke-dust and also improves absorbing and converting of the harmful substances in flue gas. Especially the purifying chamber of this device takes advantage of super-gravity field produced by a high-rated mixture flow gas- whirlpool, effectively solving the problem of low catching ratio and poor ability for absorbing and quality transmission existing in the whirlpool purifying device and all kinds of reaction1 , tower which are commonly used at present. It reveals the basic reason why whirlpool equipment has a low efficiency. At the same time, it is proved that this purifying chamber possesses most of the advantages of super-gravity machine series equipment, and avoids many difficulties arising from mechanical running which this type equipment has to face. The device can form a stable super-gravity field only in seconds. The revolving rate of gas- whirlpool can be adjusted up to several thousand or even ten thousand, raising buoyancy factor by several quantity classes. The whirlpool-core produced in the center of gas-whirlpool can be regarded as a "rotating filler bed" . According to radial velocity distribution it is known that the tangential velocity in the center of whirlpool-core is zero, the pressure is close to -oo . While the tangential velocity in transition zone is the highest and high relative velocity and constantly renewing liquid droplet and also particle surface can produce huge touchable square between phases, so it greatly raises speed of quality transmission and flood point gas- rate. All this is very beneficial to intensifying quality transmission process and it can largely minish equipment volume, cut down cost and running expenditure. In operation practice, it has achieved striking result: dust collection efficiency > 95 %, desulfurization ef ficiency > 70 % , equipment resistance < 900Pa. Thereby the author hopes that in the future whirlpool purifying mechanism can be widely used and further developed in more fields.
