FREE VIBRATION OF CRACKED PLATES

摘要

This is a study of free vibration of linear elastic cracked plates. An analytical method for free vibration of cracked plates with simply supported boundary conditions is developed by means of the Galerkin method coupled with integral transform method. Through 3-D plot, normalized frequencies for a typical cracked plate will be exclusively presented. Results for this analysis are used to draw conclusion regarding the ability of relating normalized frequencies to aspect-ratios, to crack-width ratios and to crack-depth ratios.
