Antenna is an electric device that translates electrical power into radio waves and the other way around. The major application of antenna is in the communication field. As we can see the size of the antenna is reducing day by day and its functions are increasing. This leads to difficulty in designing an antenna which can deal with the high number of functions and have a smaller size. Hence, to achieve this it is important to optimize the function of an Antenna and find out the antenna parameters before designing it. It helps in accurate and efficient communication. In this research paper we try to control the null position in antenna radiation pattern to optimize the spacing between the elements of antenna using PSO algorithm. With increase in pollution in electromagnetic environment null control has become of significant important. After obtaining the optimized spacing the antenna is designed using HFSS.
