Piezo-Power Charging System

摘要

We need lot of energy for our day to day work. There are many conventional methods through which we can generate energy but there are many drawbacks of using conventional method, the first being that their reserves are limited and are depleting very fast. So to avoid this, Non-Conventional methods are being used. In this project, an alternate of this non-conventional method has been proposed. In this project we are generating electricity by walking over a mat of Piezo crystals. We are using Piezo crystals for converting mechanical energy to electrical energy. The piezo crystals are arranged in mats and those smaller mats are combined to form a larger mat. These mats can be installed in schools, markets, temples, etc and thus the electrical energy is utilized.
