摘要

The remarkable increase of water consumption for basic human uses: water supply, agriculture and industrial use, and the considerable ascent of rejected used water, especially in the semi-aride mediterranean belt (Israel, Greece...) forces on us the necessity of ground water quality protection, from land pollution sources. This demands the examination of the hydrologic balance and hydrological surveys and suitable ground water treatment. In this article we further examine the ground water aquifer replenishment with treated water, to face the problem of saline water intrusion and is presented a case study for the protection of a ground water aquifer near the sea shore from salinity intrusion.
