This presentation provides the results of aging tests of RS-RDX crystal and PBX formulation based on RS-RDX. The aging tests were performed about three conditions; the storage of RS-RDX crystal at room temperature, the accelerated aging of RS-RDX crystal and PBXN-109 formulation based on RS-RDX at high temperature. After a certain period, the crystal quality of aged RS-RDX was investigated, and PBX formulation was prepared with aged RS-RDX. Then, the shock sensitivity of PBX formulation based on aged RS-RDX and of aged PBX formulation was investigated by Large Scale Gap Test. As results of several tests, the variation for crystal quality of RS-RDX and shock sensitivity of PBX formulation based on RS-RDX was not observed after aging.
