Fundamental study of compositions based on the furazanotetrazine dioxide (FTDO) includes investigation of the crystal structure of its molecular compounds with linear nitramines. The paper presents the results of studying the parameters of crystal structure of molecular compound of FTDO and dinitrodiazapentane (DNAP) in 49/51 mass ratio. Molecular compound (MC) melts at the temperatures 61-63℃. Size and morphology of molecular compound crystals depend on the conditions of cooling the binary melt. These properties have to be carefully studied experimentally. To investigate the crystal structure of the molecular compound FTDO-DNAP the synchrotron radiation generated by the VEPP-3 storage ring has been used. 2D diffraction images were obtained at the X-ray diffraction station, which allowed analyzing the dimensions and texture of crystalline samples. The 3D images of the molecular compound samples have been obtained on the basis of computer-aided tomography with space resolution up to 4-5 microns. These data allowed determination of the MC porosity.
