Currently, every year increasing considerably the flow of information transmitted via communication channels. This circumstance requires a constant increase in the speed and fidelity of information transmission. For the study of bilateral systems in order to identify the main elements affecting the quality of information transmission, a typical structural scheme of duplex message transmission is considered. To study duplex telecommunication systems, it is necessary to have mathematical models of the elements they consist of. In long-distance communication systems, two-way simultaneous transmission of information is carried out through two-way channels formed by two opposite unidirectional channels, combined transitional devices. It is shown that at the current level of development of digital signal processing, it is compensatory methods of separating the transmission directions that become the basis for increasing noise immunity and the efficiency of using channel resources of duplex wired and wireless systems.
