摘要

The present paper concerns some little-known facts of participation of the academician A. P. Aleksandrov (1903 – 1994) in operations in Vrangel's army, his capture and a sentence to shooting down after the capture of the Crimea by the Red Army in 1919 – 1920, as well as some technical details of his activity concerning the naval protection against magnetic mines in Sevastopol in 1941. The scheme of a test bench and a photo of a memorable sign dedicated to the events of 1941 is provided.
