Robot is a mechanical device, designed to make human task easier. Researches have been ongoing in the field of robotics to make it less a machine and more and more like a human. This paper deals with the designing of a robotic end effector and programming ABB robot IRB 1200 to write the English alphabets from A to Z. The writing tool end effector is designed using CAD software, SolidWorks and a virtual environment, RobotStudio, is used to synchronize and simulate the designed set up and programming is done using RAPID programming language. Thus, it is leaping ahead in making robots used for commercial purpose to perform abilities of a human.
