The paper presents a description of one of the nuclearreactor thermal-hydraulic algorithms.In NPP designing, it is necessary to meet simultaneously anumber of restraining conditions or the ultimate values of “limiting factors “ ( such as coolant temperature at the reactoroutlet, fuel element wall temperature, fuel core temperature,margin to CHF value, coolant velocity, hydraulic losses, etc.).The design thermal-hydraulic nomogram is build up in the“ subassembly power / coolant flow rate through thesubassembly “ coordinates and contains boundary curvesseparating permitted and nonpermitted ranges of reactoroperating mode.
