The Application Analysis of BIM Technology in Whole-Process of Engineering Cost Management

Engineering cost control is a very important process in the field of engineering management, and factors that affect the engineering cost are quite complicated. Traditional engineering cost management has some disadvantages. For example, data can't be shared; the departments do not coordinate with others; the whole process is discontinuous. Applying BIM technology to the whole process of engineering management is conducive to coordination management, data sharing in each stage of construction, timely collection and utilization of engineering information. The practical application proves that the efficiency and effect of engineering cost management improves obviously.
