In recent years, the phenomenon of energy waste in China's construction industry has attracted widespread attention from the society, and relevant departments and industries have attached great importance to this issue. To implement energy saving for civil buildings, we have to advocate the idea of energy conservation in the use process; more importantly, energy conservation norms and standards should be strictly followed in the design stage of building. The electrical system as one of the main functional systems of civil buildings, its energy-saving design plays a crucial role in saving power resources during the building use process. The energy-saving design for civil building electrical engineering refers to adopting effective measures on the basis of ensuring the safe use of electricity, and improving the effective utilization of electric energy, thus achieving the purpose of saving energy. Optimizing energy-saving design and technology for building electrical in green building projects is conducive to realizing building energy conservation and environmental protection, reducing economic costs, and saving ecological resources.
