Using Optical Acoustic Sensors for Smart City Applications

The large concentration of people in cities places a strong emphasis on resource consumption and environmental concerns. The idea of a smart city with different high-tech solutions could play an important role in overcoming some of these problems. This article presents an overview of the possibilities of using advanced technologies for optical acoustic sensors in a smart city.
