摘要

This paper aims on designing a compact, cheap, low profile patch antenna for X-Band (i.e., 8-12 GHz). The substrate of the antenna is chosen to be FR4 epoxy substrate which has a thickness of 1.6 mm and dielectric constant of 4.4. The design is simulated of HFSS software by which return loss, gain, radiation pattern, and frequency versus gain plot are computed.
