CPW Fed Snowman Shaped Antenna for IoT Application

摘要

A CPW fed Snowman shaped antenna is introduced in this work. The antenna is working as a dual band antenna with operating frequencies at 5.05 GHz and 5.99 GHz. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 190MHz and 500 MHz over the bands (4.96-5.15) GHz and (5.66-6.16) GHz respectively. The chosen substrate of the antenna is FR4 epoxy material with dielectric permittivity of 4.4 and loss tangent 0.02. The operating ranges of the antenna coincide with working ranges of one of the wireless communication network WiFi with the constraints of Internet of Things (IoT) application.
