摘要

Mould and die design is an innovative process whichrnis dependent upon abundant experience and knowledgernfrom expert. As a sign of the design technology level of arnmould and die manufacturer, the design knowledge isrnone of key factors for its competency in the industry. Inrnthis paper, the characteristic and architecture of mouldrnand die design knowledge are first analyzed, and then therndomain ontology is established. After that, therncharacteristic representation model is built for the designrnknowledge, and a kind of semantic mechanism, which isrnmachine-understandable, is constructed in order tornuniformly represent the design knowledge. This kind ofrnsemantic mechanism sets up the common semantic basisrnfor many different automatic knowledge-processes, suchrnas intelligent integration, matching and retrieval etc. Andrnthe research work presented in this paper can provide therntechnical support for the management of designrnknowledge in the mould and die enterprise.
