In this work, electrokinetic properties of colemanite and realgar were determined by using micro-electrophoresis methods. The electrokinetic measurements were carried out at pH values of between 8 and 11 for colemanite, and between 6 and 11 for realgar. It was determined that both minerals acquire a negative surface charge at all pH values, studied. It was therefore unable to obtain a zpc point for both minerals. The effects of various ions and flotation reagents on the zeta potential of colemanite and realgar were determined. The results revealed that flotation collectors were adsorbed on the minerals surfaces chemically.
