In this study, -2 mm tailings of Matel Feldspar Concentration Plant was screened to three different size fractions (-1.000 +0.595 mm, -0.595 +0.210 mm and 0.210 mm) and each size fraction was recovered by reverse flotation using Modified Flotation Column. The chemical properties (0.22percent Fe_2O_3, 4.05percent Na_2O, 4.54percent K_2O) of the obtained concentrate indicate that the concentrate is suitable for use in porcelain industry. It was also found that the Fe_2O_3, Na_2O and K_2O contents are similar both in the case of recovering the sample after screening to different size fractions and recoveriing directly (-1mm) without any screening. Therefore, it is more suitable and economical to recover the sample without screening at optimum collector dosage of 1000 g/t Armac-T and 1500 g/t Flotinor SM-15.
