A measure to bind improvement soil columns by interlocking them with horizontal improved soil slab is proposed. In this way, the gross rigidity is increased; therefore the prevention of the liquefaction is achieved. The purpose of the study is to examine effectiveness of the layout which is improved in this measure. We did a numerical experiment using FEM. To be concrete, a dynamic effective stress analysis program, which can represent the conditions of the ground liquefaction during earthquake, was used and evaluated.
