摘要

Environmental problem including air pollution unavoidably occurs as the industrial and manufacturing development have grown rapidly. For this problem, it is important to grasp occurrence mechanism. Incidentally, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) proposed by Charnes et al., can mesure efficiency of decision making units (DMU) from the input datum vector and the output vector. In this paper, we pick up the sulfur dioxide (SO_2) as key substance of the air pollution, and present a result of elemnts of environmental problem of both Japan and China about SO_2 countermeasures against pollution problem using the CCR model and window analysis methods which are representative method in DEA.
