Three dimensional structures with micro-scale features have found their uses in a number of fields. Hence, there hasrnbeen a tremendous interest in this field that has led to a surge in the processes capable of producing micro-scalernthree-dimensional structures. Most of the process developed to date deal with structures made from a singlernmaterial. In this paper, a novel method of depositing micro-scale three-dimensional structures that can be made ofrntwo different materials has been discussed in detail. This process has been made possible by using a ‘dual depositionrnhead’ that has been developed in house. The results of the process have been shown with the fabrication of multirnmaterial functional prototypes that use the dual head setup for fabrication.
