Thermography (infrared imaging) has been used t to identify the presence of neuromuscular disorders, though o using it as a tool for evaluating task demands has not been investigated. The objective of this study was to assess efficacy of using thermography as an evaluative tool. Skin s surface temperature urface changes of the anterior deltoid during overhead static exertions until exhaustion for t two work loads (15 and wo 30% MVC) and 0% shoulder angles (90 90o and 115 115o) were quantified quantified. Ten participants (5 males and 5 females females) participated. Thermography was sensitive in detecting temporal changes in thermal readings as a function of work load and posture.
