摘要

this paper defines the methodology for assessing the remaining life of major electrical equipment. The objective is to extend the service life beyond the design for mature asset to support the production sustainability. The methodology consists of three assessments which are aging assessment, integrity assessment, and obsolescence assessment. The result of these assessments will define the Life Cycle Management (LCM) which gives the alternative strategies to operate the equipment and extend the equipment service life.
