摘要

Due to complex and terrible channel characteristics of broadband power line communications (BPLC), the asymmetry between the upstream and the downstream is unavoidable, which may cause networking failure or routing instability. Aimed to solve this problem, this paper proposes an asymmetric channel based networking algorithm of the BPLC system, where the signal power adjustment is introduced into the hierarchical networking procedure. Thus, both of the upstream and the downstream can be guaranteed. In order to Evaluate this proposed algorithm, the simulation is conducted in terms of networking efficiency and success rate. Simulation results show that the proposed method is able to improve the supporting ability for data services of smart power grid with better networking performance.
