摘要

In this paper the flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) is proposed to minimize an influence of the direct start-up of a powerful induction motor (IM) that is a part of a node complex load (NCL) upon the modes of electric network (EN). Some results of model-calculation investigations of transients which appear in the EN during the direct start-up of four IMs, each having active power 8 MW are presented in the paper. These results confirm an effectiveness of the proposed FACTS.
