Software Benchmarking

There is currently, no set of standards to rank the quality of software. Certifications likernISO and SEI-CMM only rank the organization according the quality maintained in thernproduction process and such things. However there is a need for some sort of certificationrnfor the quality of software itself. These certifications can help the customer and thernbusiness community, in general, choose the best among the packages available because itrnis not feasible for them to go on and individually examine each package. A third partyrncertification is always reliable and trustworthy for both the parties.
