This new email standard backed up by the "Kerberos" protocol is our own contribution to the WWW. It overcomes the following major loopholes found in networking:rn1. Server Impersonationrn2. Client ImpersonationrnIn our paper we discuss about the ways of overcoming the above bottlenecks using "Kerberos". The building blocks of this new protocol are as follows:rn1. Ticket Distributing Server (TDS)rn2. Clientrn3. Application ServerrnEncryption and decryption of certain important data like session keys and tickets using some common keys establish security in this system. It involves the striking concept of issuing tickets to clients and application server.rnThis paper in the later stage deals with the NEED FOR KERBEROS, PRINCIPLE OF WORKING and THE SECURITY SPECIALITIES in it.rnIn our implementation, done in VB, we have developed a prototype email service with MAXIMUM SECURITY.
