On behalf of the 2013 Conference on Grand Challenges in Modeling and Simulation(GCMS'2013) organizers, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Canada and to the city of Toronto. We are delighted to inform you that we have an excellent technical program that covers a wide range of challenging problems in Modeling and Simulation that is not addressed by any other conference. The aim of this conference is to address the challenging problems facing the M&S community in methodology, tool, and software applications as well as the large and complex systems.
