This research work aims to analyse the interaction between cement and the flying ashes from the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) incineration system developed in the Valdemingomez Environmental Complex set up in Madrid. Additionally, the research will pursue to expand the knowledge about the hydration processes associated with compound mortars from cement and MSW ashes (CM-CA) by determining the properties of these materials, and thus favour their use in Civil Engineering works.
