To understand the chemical behaviors of transuraniumelements (TRU, neptunium, plutonium, americium andcurium, etc.) in solutions is particularly important for theestablishment of highly efficient partitioning process foractinides. So far, few studies have been focused on thethermodynamics and coordination modes of hexavalentneptunium(Ⅵ) and plutonium(Ⅵ) in solutions. Some“CHON” type amide-derivative ligands, which have theadvantages of simple structure and strong coordinationability with actinides, are promising ligands in actinidesseparation. In order to comprehensively understand thestructure-property relationship between these ligands withhexavalent plutonium, the complexation behaviors ofPuO_2~(2+) with three representative ligands oxydiacetic acid(ODA), N,N-dimethyl-3-oxa-glutaramic acid (DMOGA)and TMOGA (Fig.1) were studied by spectrophotometryand DFT calculation methods.
