摘要

Fly ash from incinerator contains heavy metals (zinc, lead and copper, etc) and dioxins. In recent years some regulations on the treatment of fly ash were enforced. As a result treatments of fly ash will be more difficult in the near future. Using the segregation method, to recover heavy metals, such as zinc, lead and copper from fly ash at relatively lower temperatures than 1,000℃ was possible. At the same time dioxins in fly ash were decomposed completely. And segregation method has been proposed to be low-energy consuming. This work describes the recovery of heavy metals from fly ash and decomposition of dioxins on a practical scale, using segregation method, and commissioning of the project by Metal Mining Agency of Japan.
