When we evaluate the impact of the paroxysmal epidemic situation of SARS on the closed-end and the open-end fund industry in China, the empirical study shows that influence was limited and didn't last long. The open-end fund seemed to recovery rather more quickly from the event In addition, the length of the event-window period is quite an important factor in the evaluation.

The collaborations analysed span academia, civil society and government, from the grassroots to the national and global levels.
