As the basis of BPR, Business Process Modeling (BPM) has attracted much attention from many researchers since BPR was first put forward in 1990's. Unfortunately, most widely used BPM methods can only model a single business process, and just a single business process can be reengineered as a result. They are not suitable for real-world problems since there often exist some complicated relations in different processes. Therefore, we mainly study the multiple processes and the relations behind them in this paper. At first the concept of Integrated Business Process (IBP) composed of multiple processes with coupling relations is proposed for this study, and then the corresponding features are represented in somewhat detail. On the basis of the features, the requirements for modeling IBP can be confirmed, and IBP modeling thinking from multi views is put forward. Finally, the IBP modeling method based on Extended Process Analysis Network (EPAN) is presented with an example. The method not only inherits the advantage of PAN in modeling single process but also reveals the coupling relations between different processes so that it can meet the requirements of IBP modeling well. The application of the method in real-world problems shows that it is facilitative to model IBP and provides an effective way to reengineering IBP systematically.
