Effect of different powder manufacturing on sintering of ceramic composite was studied using attrition milling folowed by spray dried(AS) and ball milling followed by natural dried(BN). The result showed: during As process, the sizes of particles was smaller, in spray-drying, granules were made of the soft agglomerates like ball, in which big pores existed. The packing density of granules made by AS was relative low, but after compacted, the agglomerates were crushed and deformed, the big pores between agglomerates were filled with smaller particles, but inner pores in agglomerates were kept still, the pore sizes distribution was relative narrow, which resulted in the big shrinkage, in the sintering stage, there were still some intragranule pores which were difficult to remvoe,, so the sintering density only reached 97
