摘要

In this paper we propose the method of calculating the calorific value of coal powder using neural networks. The calorific value has a complex relation with composition of coal powder which couldn't induce into a analytic formula, we use BP neural network to realize the relation, the three-layers BP neural network is trained with 39 groups data from the experimetn resutls of calorific value in coal powder, after training, the BP network can calcualte the calorific value precisely with very small errors, which can adopt the almost all situation in measurement of calorific value in coal powder. The proposed method effectively supports the measurement system in the calorific value of coal powder.
