Velocity Fields of Two Asymmetrical granular Moving Beds

This paper experimentally studied the flow patterns and the velocity fields of two asymmetrical granular moving beds with different louver wall configurations. The flow patterns of particles were recorded by a videocamera and the velocity fields were evalauted. Both the flow patterns and the velocity fields in the moving bed were influenced by the angles and the arrangements of the louver walls.
