This scenario offers agent-based services in the field of forestry to help increasing the flow of information and saving time during execution of the planned schedules. Also the customer is more involved in the production process, by having access to actual status reports of his orders. Pervasive computing opens the change to be more flexible and situation adapted in planning and scheduling. But on the other hand the distributed system access opens problems when many users access the same information and want to manipulate it. So we have to include mechanism to avoid data inconsistency between different databases, especially by the use of a multiagent system, where each agent has its own database, but sharing same data with other agents.
