The term "Utopia",originated from western society,actually refers to the best possible state of society envisioned in human minds advocating equality and freedom,just like the imaginary ideal world of China.All the times people are practicing a true laboratory for this Utopian research,and architects,urban planners and landscape designers are continuously searching for an actual space and environment where Utopia could actually attach to,and Chinese Garden could be considered as the results of such inventions.Chinese garden in history was an ideal world embraced with China special characteristics,and has remained to be a modern localized dream whether in ancient or modern times.The Chinese scholars'garden,from material aspects,is a sustainable development of nature,which corresponded to the concept of "The Habitation Nature" strongly advocated nowadays; In comparison to the ostensible security and assurance proposed by second nature which is formed by science and technology,this particular third nature emphasizes on the concept of "harmony between man and nature".From spiritual level,Chinese Garden was also an emotional interpretation of Chinese traditional scholars who persistently pursue the ideal supremacy in life.Numerous scholars and painters had participated in the design of Chinese gardens,which indirectly instill the drawing style and the writings of the ancients into the creation of Chinese gardens,as called the "The freedom paradise of spirit".Through the research on the Chinese scholars'garden,this article attempts to analyze the revolution of the relationship between culture and nature,and provides some reference for the modern utopia design.This approach could tune our acts to the environment,and re-establish "nature" technologically and culturally.It is what certain philosophers call Third Nature.
