The primary objective of this work was to devise a novel technique to fabricate composite cylindrical helical springs using glass, and carbon fibers, and in a hybrid form embedded in a matrix of epoxy resin. The stiffness of the springs was measured experimentally by subjecting them to precise loading. The effects of Wire Diameter, Coil Diameter, and the Number of Turns were investigated experimentally, and the spring stiffness values were compared with those obtained based on the existing spring, and composite modulus theories.
