Abstract: The high pressure xenon ionization chamber was designedfor measurements gamma-ray lines from cosmic sources inthe energy range 0.1 - 10 MeV. This chamber wasinstalled on board of the orbital station `MIR' and themeasurements are carried out. the 3 litter's chamberwas filled with 0.6 g/cm$+3$/ density xenon mixed withhydrogen for increasing the drift velocity ofelectrons. The energy resolution is 1.3% FWHM at photonenergy 1 MeV without electronics noise (2.0% total).This experiment has been lasting for about three yearswithout any degradation although the detector isstrongly irradiated traversing the South-Atlanticanomaly four times a day. The high energy resolution ofxenon ionization chamber made it possible to registerlines in gamma-ray bursts energy spectra. Up to thistime we have observed events with $+56$/Fe$+*$/deexcitation and red-shifted 511 keV annihilationlines. This experiment is carried out on board of theheavy orbital station. The distortion of measured databy the induced in vessel mass radioactivity ismeasured. Also we discuss the influence of vibrationand acoustic noise.!10
