摘要

This work present the result of electrochemical investigation the corrosive behaviour of CuZn-42 brass with various deformation degrees in 0.1MNa_2SO_4 with additional various copper (II)-ion and chloride ion concentrations at room temperature in the acidic medium for four pH-values (2, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5). The considered role of Cu_2O, CuO and CuCl-film formed on CuZn-42 brass surface and their role in stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and inhibitional effect on increase/decrease ig current density of brasses. Corrosion rate increase with increase of Cu(II) and Cl~--ions and decrease of pH-values where it was observed inhibitional effect on corrosion with increase of deformation degree of the sample. For comparasion of obtained results, the same experiment were carried out also with pure copper.
